Tadcaster Police Update

Over the past six days the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been actively conducting proactive patrols in and around the Tadcaster area. Here’s a snapshot of the recent activity: 

🏢Harold Hick Court

The location remains a key priority due to recent reports of anti-social behaviour and officers have engaged with all persons present. We are now looking into further interventions to target harden the location. 

🚌Tadcaster Bus Station

The bus network, like any other public transport network sees reports of crime and anti-social behaviour and over the weekend officers have engaged with both drivers and passengers to ensure a safer transport network. 

❌Illegal Encampment

We are aware that the encampment has remained in place for some time now and the team has continued to patrol and engage with those present daily, whilst liaising with our colleagues at North Yorkshire Council. 

🤝Town Council Meeting

As per the previous Community Message, we continue to attend community meetings with an aim of offering an update on what is happening in their area, whilst offering relevant safeguarding advice and answering any questions. 

The above is just a small insight into some of the work the neighbourhood policing team is doing to keep Tadcaster safe.
